MicroSpy® measuring systems are budget-friendly, compact single-sensor surface metrology tools with an additional CCD-camera for the convenient sample positioning underneath the measuring sensor. The positioning is done through a motorized x,y-table. Depending on the MicroSpy® tool, the approach of the sensor in z-direction is performed with a manual precision axis with fine and coarse adjustment or a motorized table with z-axis.

The MicroSpy® Topo is a confocal microscope that measures roughness, contour or topography in a one-shot approach. This makes the measuring system fast with regard to measuring speed. Furthermore, as with all FRT tools, measurement results follow industry standards such as DIN, ISO, SEMI, ASTM or JIS.
